Say goodbye to July!

We have had a great July!

For my 29th birthday (July 10th) the babies "saved their money" and had a pre-natal massage therapist come to the house! The babies said it was because they have been beating me up!! Then my girl friends met up for Happy Hour at Tommy Bahama's! (And they picked up my water tab!!) And when Brandon got home from his fishing trip I had another present to open!

A few of my friends!

Brandon was on his way to Grand Isle, LA and stopped at Exit 21 at the drive-thru daiquiri hut! He was drinking with us too-- (don't worry, he wasn't driving!!) I recommend the Skittles or Sweetart daiquiri!!

For Brandon's 29th birthday (July 20th) we had our families over to celebrate! It was perfect because now everyone has seen the nursery. I borrowed Brandon's car for the day and the window tint fairy came after 6 years of waiting!!! And we/he (really me) got a Flip video recorder! I can't wait to post videos of the boys! We also went out to this new wine bar in The Woodlands to celebrate with some of his friends!
Looks almost like a new car!

The best part of our Birthday month is our Birthday Dinner. We decided to go to Perry's Steakhouse during Restaurant Week. (You get an appetizer, entree, and dessert for $25.00) Only to walk out feeling so happy about our bill to see that Perry's has a special running all year on Sunday and Monday evenings. Basically the same dinner but for $19.79! So we need to go back!

And to finish off the month, we had a great weekend at the beach house and are planning a final summer send off before Brandon starts Grad School and before the babies arrive! (And don't worry, I stayed off the jet ski-- at least last weekend!)

Bailey likes to ride, she wishes we had the boat back so she could sit up front!

And how she feels after a rough day on the water!

As for me and the babies: We are doing great! My feet are huge by the end of the day, but as long as I keep them elevated, they go back to normal for the morning. My stitches from my mole extravaganza were removed and I have a pretty scar to show off now! AND... I passed the gestational diabetes test! ( THANK GOODNESS! There is no way I could give up carbs or ice cream!)
After 2 hours of having them up! My ankles are still a little big here!!

However, my bloodwork came back that I am anemic. I have always been borderline anemic and have prescription iron pills that I am supposed to take, but if you have ever had to take iron pills you know why I hate them. So, once again I am back on prescription iron pills!! So fun! But the boys are fine!

8 more weeks and 5 days is my goal!! Say a prayer that we make it until then.

You guys have had a busy July. I should post the picture of you on the Jet Ski from the 4th!
I hope you have a very relaxing August before the babies get here!
