My dad was the king of one liners. One saying that has been stuck in my head today, "I have to do everything, ALL the time." He said this pretty much anytime we asked him to do something, or when he asked US to do something and we didn't. He was joking, but we still heard it a ton. One night at dinner when I was really little... like under 5. He asked me to pass him the salt. I promptly said, "I have to do everything, ALL the time, and I'M getting tired of it." So from that moment on, the saying took on a whole new level. (btw... I was a pretty funny little kid)
It's been playing over and over in my head today. I think I may bring that saying around in my family too! :)
My plan today was to wear them out. And that I did!
So many things wrong with this picture. I had to learn really quickly that the boys don't care if their hands/face/hair are grimy and gritty. They also don't care if the sand gets in the water side, or if the water gets on the sand side. I had to let that go, the first 10 seconds.
Maybe I ate some, maybe I didn't.
Do I have something on my face?
It makes you drive CrAzy!
I ate some sand too.... shhh
But I love to play soccer!
Game on!
