19 months

I am a little behind on this post. We turned 19 months on the 23rd, but we just went to the doctor for our 18 month check up, so I have some new stats to post.

Hudson:
Height: 2'10" (84%)
Weight:  26.3 (49%)
Head:  19.13"  (68%)

Still long and skinny!

Luke:
2'10.5"  (91%)
Weight:  27.11 (68%)
Head: 18.5" (23%)

Seriously, they measured his head twice because they did not believe it was smaller than Hudson's.  I just think Luke's head is shaped differently and that is why it keeps coming up smaller.
So, according to this, he is a tall kid with a little head. haha

We survived all the shots! No more until they turn 4!! Whoo Hoo!
They had their first 'autism' screening checklist.... no worries there.

And now, my little run down of personalities:

Hudson:

  • Eats. Eats. and Eats. He can really put away some food. He also goes number 2 like 4-5 times a day.  Oh, to be young and have such a fast metabolism. His favorite foods: blueberries, greek yogurt, eggs (scrambled, boiled, fried, he just loves them), oranges, bananas, chicken (freshly grilled only), hotdogs, apples, pasta, and cheese.
  • Loves trains, busses, and cars.  He gets extremely excited when you ask him to play trains. Like so excited you worry something is wrong with him.
  • He is very independent. He loves to explore and learn new things by himself.
  • Still loves to read books. Only now, he likes to read them with you, or without you. He even can read some of No David  by himself. (The book only has like 2 words in the whole book :)
  • Knows the letter H!
  • Climbs. He has great upper body strength!
  • When he wants you to sing, he only wants you to sing his favorite song. Well, his favorite song changes often... so I will start singing one, and he shakes his head no and says no. So it's like playing 20 questions but with songs. When I finally get the right song, he gets so excited and starts dancing.
  • Gets very frustrated with Luke. He is now saying something other than 'SHARE'... I think it sounds like "Be Nice". (I say that a bunch too)
  • Loves to pretend cook. He lets me taste test all of his creations, and says, "mmmmmmm" when he jabs the spoon into my mouth.
Luke:
  • Loves balls. His new obsession is playing basketball with the teenager next door. Nick is always really patient. Nick lets him shoot his air balls and always tells him good job! (He also shouts 'Nik' every time we go outside now. Like he should always be outside playing basketball.
  • Still eats pretty slow.  But he is getting better. He knows Hudson will steal his food if he doesn't hurry up.  He loves blueberries, chicken, hotdogs, apples, applesauce with cottage cheese, oatmeal, toast, french toast, and anything sweet. He has a huge sweet tooth.
  • Likes to play outside. He will bang on the back door first thing every morning. And really gets mad that I have to tell him no.
  • Loves bath time. Has taken over the spot closest to the faucet and will fight for that spot if he arrives late to bath time.
  • Loves books too. His favorite still, for about 4 months running, is this book called It's not easy being big... it has a ton of pages with balls in it! haha
  • Likes to drive my car too!
  • Loves snack time. He will bring me his snack cup and then bang on the pantry. His favorite snacks are raisins, oatmeal squares, gold fish, grapes, and pirate booty.
  • Also loves to pretend cook. He also takes the pots and pans from Hudson and then try to trick him and make him try his food.
