My hs dance friend, Catherine, blogged her menu for the week, and I LOVED checking it out! So I thought I would do the same, although mine is way less impressive!
I really, honestly, never cook this much in a crock pot, but since I have been teaching swim lessons every day this week... I found it the only way to swim and still eat dinner after I finish at 7pm!
Friday: Crock Pot Taco Soup (Brandon was out of town, so I made what I like!)
Okay, I changed it up per Tara's instructions! So yummy. Used Red Beans and Hominy instead of corn. And I used ground turkey!
Saturday: Tasty Kitchen Crockpot Lasgana
I used whole wheat noodles, 96/4% Ground Beef, 1 1/2 jars of sauce, and an extra layer of everything. It was okay. It really needed spices and salt, and maybe more sauce. But not bad for a throw together meal.
Sunday: Boys were sick, went to urgent care, we didn't have dinner! (And it was my birthday!!)
Monday: Pioneer Woman's Drip Beef
I use a packet of Italian Dressing and whole wheat rolls from the bakery section of the grocery store. And skipped the cheese, but not every time :)
Tuesday: Leftover Drip Beef
Wednesday: Chickfila (Brandon is in night class) :)
Hey, at least I am honest!
Thursday: Tasty Kitchen BBQ Chicken Sandwiches
Okay, I am really lazy. So when it said to make the sauce, which I am sure it is awesome... I didn't. I just poured a jar of BBQ sauce over it that I found in the pantry. And I used 2 chicken breasts. BUT it was amazing, the last time I made it, hopefully I will still like it tomorrow! And I buy the whole wheat buns from the bakery too.
Friday: I really want to go out to dinner for my birthday....hint hint.
But if not, we are having grilled Snapper Vera Cruz Brandon went on a fishing trip with his dad and brother last week/weekend.... came back with BAGS of Snapper! I am most excited!
So, there you have it! Not quite a full week's menu... but hey, I can only do so much!! haha
What are you having for dinner?
