You read correctly, a sewing class. I pretend I can sew, but really, I have to go online every single time and remind myself how to thread my machine, and do the bobbin. And then I just fake it until it starts working and looking like something I found online.
So, it was fun to really learn what I should be doing.
Our first project is a pillowcase.
I have a little rule around here. I don't buy the boys cartoon stuff. ie: shoes, clothes, backpacks. I leave it for the toys and undies (when we buy some).
But, I figured they could have a Thomas the Train pillowcase if I make it myself.
Plus I think it will make a certain non-napper happy when he goes to bed.
She said it would be completed when we left class next week. I am secretly hoping I can get her to make my second one so they can both sleep with it Tuesday night!
MOM: Thank you so much for watching the boys today! They told me ALL about what fun they had when they woke up!
I'll post my finished project next week! Wish me luck!

Where is sewing class? I have been wanting to take a class?
