Listen to your gut...

I pulled the boys out of their school on Thursday for a multitude of reasons.
But the biggest reason being; Hudson's needs were not being met.
And when I met with the teachers and lead teacher, it just confirmed that they were not a good fit for us.
I don't want to hash it out on the blog, but I trusted my instinct, asked questions, and most importantly, I listened to Hudson. I just hope we can all recover quickly from this. Feel free to contact me if you want more details.

Ugh. Another reason why moving with small children is so hard. But, we are moving on and starting a new school on Tuesday. At least this school has certified teachers in every room.

He would get home from school and have to 'detox' from the last 2 hours. He would hardly speak.
Anyways.
We are moving on!
Things will get better, and we will soon laugh about this.
I hope.

Luke and his new skateboard. (His idea, not ours.)

 Bikes are SO fun!
And here is a happy birthday video!

And yes, Luke has a stutter. His doctor is aware, and not concerned. Less than 1% of children with a stutter have it as an adult.

  1. I love those happy boys! Cute video! Carter stutters too, especially when he's excited. It's cute.

  2. You should always listen to your gut. I pulled H from her first school after just 3 days, and we love our new one. Once she gets older and it is more pre-school type, I would love to hear your teacher based opinion on what I should be looking for!
