Mini Shopping Carts

Remember how fun it was when you were little, and you could follow your mom with your own shopping cart, and you would beg for her to put food in your basket and not hers?

I remember. I loved it.

Well, we went to Market Street today and low and behold, they found the mini shopping carts. It was like a light of happiness shinning down on them.

What the heck, can't hurt right?
Let them live out their little shopping cart dreams.

OHHHMYYYGOOODNESSSSS

Boys with shopping carts = one unglued mommy.

I held it together until the seafood counter, when this happened:

And then there was a lot of 'bashing'.

But, I really lost it when they BOTH flipped the carts. Food and all.

Picture Rotisserie chicken juice all over the floor, and then a pint of blackberries mixed in.

I became unglued in front of other shoppers, and then they felt bad. I felt bad. And our fun memory was ruined.

So, after we got done and back in the car. I apologized for yelling at them in the store in front of others. And Hudson, sweet sweet Hudson, said, "Its alright mom, Jesus still loves you all day." So I thanked him for extending grace to me and told him I would try to extend it to him next time.

I love these little guys so much. I forget they still aren't even 3.5. I treat them like little people, but they still are very little and learning new things every single day.  It brings tears to my eyes when I think about just how big and how much I love them.

So, tomorrow is a new day.

But man, I am exhausted.
