Our very first Valentine's Day was in 2006. We went to dinner at Post Oak Grille. It was the first time I had a filet. Ever. It was the first time Brandon ever spent money on a girl for Valentine's Day! It was special!
Since then, we have decided to just stay in on Valentine's Day. Brandon cooks/grills our meal every year. We open a nice bottle of wine, tell stories of our past, and discuss our future. I love it. It is just perfect for me. We are both homebodies and I enjoy the quiet dinner after everyone is asleep!
The night before I decorated the house and got breakfast ready so all I would have to do is heat everything up!
