My Gym

When the twins were 6 months old, Brandon's parents gifted us with a couple months of membership to Gymboree. It was so fun for the boys, but I always left feeling sorry for myself. Like here I was, a new mom, just like everyone else in the class, but I was chasing two babies, and no one to help me. AND they would all say the typical, "You have your hands full, and I have no idea how you do it, one baby is hard enough"

So, this time around, Reed and I are having a totally different experience. There are even twins in the class, but they come with Grandma and the nanny. When the mom does come, I make sure to tell her how much easier it will get, and how Reed is my "life after twins" baby. She said I am the only person who ever talks so positive about having twins. I LOVED/LOVE having twins. But just having one baby, at one time... is a really humbling/normal experience that I felt so left out of when the boys were born. I think I would have had 5 babies if they all came one at a time.

So here is Reed today at My Gym!

Reed and his girl K. They have known each other since Reed was 8 weeks old. They go to church together, and live down the road!
