I saved every last toy that Luke and Hudson ever had as babies. You have more toys to play with than most children. So for your birthday this year, I asked your friends to not bring presents, but to bring donations that were in critical need at our local food pantry. I hope one day you appreciate this selfless little act and want to help others too.
We dropped off the trunk full of goodies yesterday and your brothers had lots and lots of questions. But in the end we decided it was such a nice thing to do for people who really don't have the money right now.
