I'm sorry it's been so long since I've posted. It's getting harder and harder to find quiet time to blog, and when it is quiet, I rather sleep or spend time with Brandon!
Some News:
1. I am proud to announce that Brandon, the boys and I went out to dinner 2 weeks ago! The boys were great! The restaurant was loud and had plenty to look at! They both pretty much slept the entire time.2. Then on Saturday a week ago, we went to a friends house to watch the LSU game, and then to a 30th birthday party! The boys did great until around bed time and they had had enough. Luke slept for about 7 hours that night. Hudson still suffers from reflux and was not too happy that night! (Katy-- thanks for holding him most of the night!)
The Party Outfits
3. Both boys are now over 8lbs, almost 9!
I think he looks like Brandon here!
Hudson is getting so big!
4. The boys and I took Bailey to the groomers, headed to the doctor, then to HEB for groceries ALL by myself! And everyone, myself included, survived. You should have seen all the food piled up around Hudson in the cart. I wish I would have taken a picture! I wore Luke in the Baby Bjorn carrier and we didn't draw too much attention.
5. We are now eating every 3 hours instead of 2, and it is a whole new world for me!
6. We took a road trip to Baton Rouge to visit Scott and some friends! We went to the LSU game, just for a photo op for the boys... and we were like celebrities. The LSU baseball coach, Paul Mainieri, came up to us and wanted to meet Luke and Hudson. He showed the boys his championship ring, and took a picture with them. Everyone thought they looked so cute in their LSU gear.

Luke... check out the thighs

Hudson and his chubby cheeks!

Their first college football game!

The boys and Coach!
Well, the boys will be 8 weeks on Wednesday, and I getting nervous about their 2 month check up. I hate seeing them get shots.
(oh, and Hudson and his reflux is getting so much better! We have elevated his bed on an incline, he sits upright after feeding, we changed his meds, and we have added probiotics to our diets! So this past week was the best we have had!)
This post made me smile! So much good news and fun times for the boys. I LOVE that picture with the coach. Priceless!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing you this weekend (or maybe tomorrow?)
What great news!! You guys are doing wonderfully and it sounds like you are getting to have tons of fun with the little men!
ReplyDeleteLove you guys!
You are welcome! I know how trying a fussy baby can be. I am so glad he is feeling better. Ya'll sound super busy, too! Fun stuff! We really enjoyed getting to meet the boys and visit with you and Brandon. Hope we can see you again soon! I love that my pregnancy and the boys ages are the same... I will just check with you on how far along I am :) It's much harder to keep track of this go round!
