My little helpers!

For the last month or so, every time I am in the kitchen the boys want me to hold them so they can watch me cook. Well, if you hold two kids, how can you cook?  I have started letting them stand on our step stool and our chairs from the kitchen table.
Last night we had CPK BBQ Chicken Pizza from Pioneer Women's Web Site (I make the crust with 2 cups whole wheat flour), and the boys just HAD to help me! I love it! I hope they always want to help.
I made the dough in the morning and just rolled it out!
Notice the little guy on top of the pizza.
Thank you Luke.
Adding the red onions!
Ready for the oven!
Now here is my dilemma, do I keep pushing the heavy chairs into the kitchen? Or buy something new?
The only thing I don't like about this chair is, it doesn't fold up flat to store in a closet or pantry.

This fold up, seems safe, but is too expensive. I don't want to spend that much.

I really like this option. It is just a step stool that will go flush against the cabinets.
But this is WAY more than I am willing to spend on a step stool.
So, I guess I will just keep pulling my heavy iron chairs over to the kitchen until I find something that is just right. I'll keep you posted!

  1. If only our husbands were the handy type that could build us something like #2... well, I just assume B is much like R in this department ;)

  2. We almost had a terrible accident with Carson even sitting in a chair on our tile. Yikes!
