Table for Two

I went to IKEA the other day looking for some sort of storage system for all the toys in the playroom, and for a tiny table for our kitchen. I found them both, and a few more odds and ins. I have a love/hate relationship with IKEA. I love all their stuff because it is cheap, but I hate putting it together.

I had the idea of them being able to eat breakfast and lunch together here, and still eat dinner with us at the big table. I like that they have to practice sitting, eating, and being polite.

BUT...  I wouldn't call it a total success. There are are still some kinks to work out with them being able to eat at this table.  One issue is they can get up and down and eat the other persons food; which really ticks off a certain little someone. They also get into shoving matches with the table, pushing it closer towards one person. And they like to climb on top of it in between meals.  So, I may hide it for a little while, or I may just keep teaching them kitchen safety. :)
