Last night was GREAT! 10 minutes to get them down and then....
I did not get out of bed at all during the night!!!
But our morning started very early, I hope they can go back to 7am.
Today: WORST EVER
I got them down for nap. Resting nicely. Left the room. Went back to the 5, 10, 15 minute drill I did when they were like 6 months old. And then... the pool guys started banging on all the doors trying to find me to ask if they were at the right house. (umm... 1. Do you see any other house on the street getting a pool? and 2. Can you read my TWINS NAPPING door knocker sign? (It is in cursive, maybe that threw him off)
So nap was ruined. I didn't have it in me to start all over. I let them get up and play. And wait for it... watch TV. (Sesame Street, they loved it. I feel slightly guilty for depriving it from them for so long.) But they are almost 2!
Hudson fell asleep while playing trains, and Luke fell asleep in the car running an errand.
Which brings be back to tonight: JUST OKAY
It took longer than normal. But they are asleep and no one ran out of the room.
Score: Twins:1 Mommy:2
I am going to need to be in here during nap time sipping a cold drink in order to survive this transition.
