Hudson slept the entire night without waking up with a fever!
I told Brandon last night that if he still had a fever in the morning, we are going in to see Dr. B.
So, no fever... meant we went to Baby Boot Camp to workout this morning! We even did a little shopping for my niece Cayley, and got Daddy a new ipod shuffle. Even rode the elevator 6 times!
It was a glorious morning outside of the house. Finally.
We even came home to Letty and Mary cleaning the house!
But shortly after lunch, we were playing upstairs when Hudson tripped on his own feet running down the play mats and hit the back of his head perfectly on the subwoofer. I saw it all happen in slow motion and knew it was not going to be pretty.
The blood starting flowing instantly and we got straight in Letty's car and headed to the ER.
Long story short: he needed two staples, but the doctor said head wounds rarely get infected, and since it is covered up by hair we don't need to worry about the scar. So, I decided not to put him through staples.
The aftermath:
You can't see the cut, but it's under all that matted hair. When the ER doctor told Hudson, "You are so tough." Hudson said, "I know."
He also kept saying over and over as I was rocking him, "Bubba okay, Bubba okay?" And, "I'm tough."
Poor Hudson. Everything bad seems to happen to him.
Oh my goodness....Poor Hudson. I can't believe this happened. I'm so sorry you guys had to go through this.
