Our Week in Pictures

Starting with today and working backwards.
Friday:
I had baby fever, until this morning at 1am. Hudson had a bad dream. I think. He was screaming and walking around the room. I went in there and he crawled up my body and when I laid him down, he said, "No, cuddle."  Which means, he wants me to lay down with him. So I just took him to our bed. But his idea of cuddle is trying to attach himself to my skin and stay connected the entire night. So, I got no sleep. At all. And then he got up at 5:30 when Daddy did.
He spent a good deal of the morning looking like this:
Thursday: HUGE
My child did not cry at school. He walked in all by himself!
Even demanded that he wear his backpack in his car seat. (Usually he would get mad when I even got it out.) Not sure what the silly face is about.
Luke looking good on the way to school.

Wednesday:  We went to HEB, while I was across the way getting pears, I come back to the cart to see Hudson had helped himself to an apple. However, there was another mom there shopping with her son, and when she saw what he did, she gave me that look... like "Can't you control him." Umm... lady. No. Have you ever met Hudson? He does his own thing, ALL the time.  Luke just wanted his free cookie. Which he got, and ate, and also ate Hudson's.

Meet the new bike crew:

Tuesday: Passports in the morning. (AMEN for moms, that is all I have to say about that outing.)

Monday:  I LOVE when they play so nicely. It doesn't last all that long before someone (Luke) destroys the train tracks and everyone walks away mad.

Dinner this week:
PW's 16 minute shrimp Scampi (minus all the butter and whole wheat pasta)
PW's Spicy Dr. Pepper Pulled Pork Tacos and then nachos
Still on the agenda for the weekend:
PW's Meatballs with Peppers and Pineapple
PW's Best Lasagna Ever

I wanted to see if I could do a week of Pioneer Woman... but I got a little off...cause the pork made enough for a small army. I think we may eat it all weekend and save the rest for next week.
