4th of July 2012

It just didn't feel right this year!! Having the 4th on a Wednesday is strange. Brandon had to work Tuesday and Thursday, so it felt like a random weekday off.

But, we made the most of it!
Our neighborhood had a bike parade at the pool and ended with popsicles!

 Meet our neighbor, he lives 3 houses down and is 3!

Then we took the boys to see a movie for the first time. They seriously ate their weight in popcorn. No lie. Brandon had to go back for a free refill after the previews were over.

And then we ended the day with burgers by the pool with one of my sorority sisters that lives about 15 minutes from here! I love how you can not see someone for 10 years, and then hang out like no time has ever passed. Only now we have husbands, and kids, and responsibilities! Thanks for having us over Kelli! (Hudson misses his BFF Jeff.)

When I was little I LOVED 4th of July. It was my favorite because it always meant my birthday was around the corner and school was going to start back up soon!  Now... well, I am just another year older! And I have to hear about how OLD I am for 10 long days because Brandon is ten days younger than me!
