Goggles

Your PSA for the evening...

Sometimes goggles can change your child's outlook on swimming. Or just make them think they can swim like the swimmers at the Olympic Trials that they have been watching on TV in the evenings!

Here are my all time favorite goggles.

Expensive for kid/toddler goggles? Yes. But will they actually work and last all summer and then some? Yes.

Did my boys wear them tonight at the pool and think they were awesome. Yes.  Did Daddy even wear them for awhile? Yes he did!

They are great because of the size.  More like a mask than traditional goggles. And they are so unbelievably easy to adjust while they are still on your child's face. I can not tell you how much time I used to spend adjusting 'the other' brand of goggles.

Oh, and my other swim reminders...

• Googles are great for swimming in public pools. They have to crank up the chorine as these temps get hotter and more people are in the pool. You won't notice the chlorine burn because we aren't the ones swimming non stop with our eyes open for the last hour. 
• And don't forget the ear drops... swimmers ear can keep you out of the pool for 7-10 days.  It is way to hot to not be able to swim!
