RCV: 16 months old

Reed!!
You are another month older!
You weigh 29 pounds.

You had a little scare about ten days ago. Your pink eye came back with vengeance and your whole eye  socket/ cheek bone puffed up. I took you to the doctor really quickly and he was very concerned that you could have an infection. He used words like MRSA, and Staph. He said ocular conjunctivitis, blindness, IV antibiotics... and then I kinda stopped listening. I knew you just had pink eye. I knew you have very sensitive skin, and I knew that when I pinned you down, I had to pry with all my might to get your eye open to get the drops in. But I'm just a mom, and your doctor was very worried. So you got two shots right away in the office, and ten days on oral antibiotics, and ten days on new pink eye drops, AND he took a culture of your eye goo.

And guess what. Nothing grew on it. No MRSA for you sweet boy.
I wouldn't even let myself google anything because I know better. I would have been an even bigger mess.

So that was exciting!

Talking:
You talk quite a bit. But mostly say the same few words. When Hudson asks you to say something, you always do it. When I ask you. You look at me with this face. And say nothing.

Sleeping:
You sleep 7:30 to about 7 or 7:30.
You kinda dropped to one nap last week, but some days you still need a quick nap from 4-5 to hold you over.

You gave up your paci awhile back, And it was so painless! Way to go buddy!
