St. Paddy's Day Parade

Our soccer game was canceled due to all the rain we had over the last week. So...  in our typical family fashion. We randomly and quickly loaded up and headed downtown to watch the St. Patrick's Day Parade.

The last time I attended a St. Paddy's day parade was in New York City when I was pregnant with the twins!

We rode DART for the first time. The boys were a fan! Reed was a little uncertain about the tunnel, but he kept saying choo choo.

Then we found our way to the parade route, free donuts, free Monster Energy Drinks, beads, bracelets, superheroes, dogs, trucks, and lots of fun people watching!

Then a quick drive over "the grassy knoll" to Trinity Groves for lunch. 

And our favorite bridge!

Dallas, you are not Houston. But you are Dallas. And the home of where my baby was born! And we are coming to love this city just the same. Only different.
