I have been calling the 800 number seriously ALL day. Don't tell Brandon, but I called at least 12 times. One time today, I called on speaker phone in my classroom and let the kids listen... still nothing. The voice mail kept saying, "Your results are not in, please call back tomorrow." Well, I couldn't let it go so... I just had to call one last time after dinner. Brandon took the trash out and came back in and asked who I was calling. I just smiled and he shook his head and said why!? Well, all of a sudden the voice mail started talking and I was screaming!
The best news first: both babies have a 1 in 10,000 chance of having a genetic disorder such as Downs. So that is great!
Then the lady on the phone confirmed:The best news first: both babies have a 1 in 10,000 chance of having a genetic disorder such as Downs. So that is great!

However, now we have to wait 3 more weeks to find out what the other baby is. Or to even find out which twin is a boy!!! (Remember that with twins the blood test only shows if the Y chromosome is present. If the Y chromosome is present, then we know we have at least one boy.)
Brandon and I are really excited that both babies are healthy!
WooHoo! Brandon Wayne Junior!! I can't wait to smooch his face off!!
ReplyDeleteThis is exciting news. Of course we would have been super excited either way! It is just fun trying to picture what they might be like!
Boy & Girl? Boy & Boy? Hmmm...now that is the new question. Ha ha. The questions never stop. :)
YAY!!!!! He's going to be a tall hottie for sure! I am thinking boy & girl.
ReplyDeleteYay for a little boy. I'm still voting for boy and girl! Can't wait for you to find out!
