I'm a bad mommy blogger... Happy Birthday to Brandon! We met Daddy for lunch and then took a tour of his office, and we let the boys go wild in there! They loved it! His office has a ton of floor space!!!
Sadly, I had the big camera in my purse and forgot to take pictures!
Second:
I tell Brandon all the time that I want a dog. Half serious, half kidding... but I really think I am ready. I still miss Bailey, and you can still find some of her foot prints on the front porch... but more importantly, I think the boys need a dog!
We got to keep Roxie for a day or so, when her mommy went to have a baby! The boys LOVE her. They chased her. They fed her. They pulled her legs. They pet her face. They played in her dog food. For the most part she just took it, but sometimes she would jump to my lap for a break! She is going to be a great big sister.
However, when the boys would gang up on her, traveling at high rates of speed together to get to her...she spoke out to let them know she was serious! But, barking apparently is really really funny when you are 10 months old.
This is the worst quality video ever. I didn't have the FLIP near me, and I still don't know how to work the video on the nice camera.... But you will get the point!

ReplyDeleteI would also add that they love mommy's fridge alphabet. . .the taste, the texture, the joy of watching the big people pick up all of the letters over and over again. SO. MUCH. FUN.
ReplyDeleteWell, you'll be able to do a dry run of the [dog + babies] scenario in one more week! After that experience, you'll know for sure whether it's the right time to find one for the full-time commitment!
