Paci Party!

I'm not sure what came over me on Tuesday, but I just felt the time was right. The boys were only allowed to have the paci in the car and in the crib for months now. Then we said crib only. And for the past while, every time the boys woke up, they throw their paci's out of the crib and laugh hysterically.
So, Tuesday, as I was picking up all the paci's that were thrown overboard.... I decided to just bag them up for good.
We sang goodbye paci over and over, and played with the bag of pacis and then we put them in the top drawer.
The first night was hard for Hudson, but I think Luke was fine. Last night they both cried for less than a minute. And tonight, they just laid down.
I know everyone has their own opinion about this topic. And to be quite honest, I don't care what you did  or didn't do, what worked for you, or when you did it. I just felt it was time for my kids. That has to be the greatest part about being a mom. I can do it my way.
But, anyways... I took some cute pictures of this monumental moment for us! (Everyone who knows Hudson, knows how much a paci means to him. I am really really proud of him for not putting up too much of a fight!)
Singing the Paci Song!
Mom are you sure??
Our song  "Bye Bye Paci, Bye Bye Paci,
Bye Bye Paci, I hate to see you go!"
You can't see it, but he is shaking the paci bag and dancing!
See ya later!
