Follow Up Post: My Children Eat Wood

Remember this post?? I went out to Hobby Lobby the next day and bought fabric, batting, and ribbon. I never made the crib guard. Why?? I have twins, do I really have time to sew? Not so much. And... my kids didn't have teeth, and MY kids would never eat wood!

Wrong. I stand corrected. Hudson got really quiet during nap time a month or so ago. And when I went to get him out, he had chewed his crib. I made the crib guard right then and there before the next nap. It's not pretty, or perfect, but it stopped his eating habits. (Another reason I knew he was done with his Paci... he moved on to crib chewing.)

But Luke, Luke would never eat his crib. WRONG. After over a month of Hudson having his crib guard, today, Luke discovered wood. He loved it. So, back to Hobby Lobby for more fabric. And another crib guard complete. ( I had to do it while they were eating, strapped in their seats, watching intently.)
Luke's chewing as of today!

Luke's crib guard is now up too!

Lucky for me, I saved the bottle of touch up varnish!
So there you go, I can sew. So, can you! (Don't be too impressed, it doesn't look anything like I pictured in my head, but it serves the purpose.)
