Excursions:
I packed life jackets for the boys because I had this vision of us getting off the ship and going for a relaxing boat ride to a beach or to find dolphins. (I think I was thinking booze cruise but with kids.) Yeah, not so much.
Reality: There are not many excursions you can do with children under 4. Which turned out to be fine. We made our own adventures while the rest of my family galavanted off to swim with dolphins, snorkel/scuba dive, and tour Mayan Ruins. I think they had a completely different trip from us during the day time!!!!
Please don't feel like you have to watch all these videos. But you really should, just for Brandon's commentary alone. And the random burps he throws in for your enjoyment!
Costa Maya:
Sorry, no videos this trip. We just stayed at the place they drop you off at. We played in the fountains, swam in the swim up bar pool. and then watched my niece and nephews ride the dolphins. (Which was the best part!!) Oh... and we took a 'train' back to the ship. The boys thought that was the best!
Cozumel:
We left the boat twice this day. The first time was early. I was antsy and just wanted to get off the boat. We had no plan and I didn't even have my swim suit on.
Two awesome videos from our first 'excursion':
And one more... just because it is even more awesome.
Our second attempt at leaving was much more successful:
We went to Playa Mia.
They had a beach, playground, and a trampoline! (Jackpot in toddler land.)
EVEN IGUANAS. Hudson is in LOVE with Iguanas. He pet it, hugged it, and kissed it.
Progresso:
Take 1:
Take 2:
And Take 3:
There is not much to do here for little ones. We just go off, drank one beer, and bought some over priced guitars that we just HAD to have!!
We really did have fun. It's just a different kind of fun now!
Stay Tuned, more to come...
