One thing I really try to honor is: my word.
If I tell the boys we are going to do something, then I try to always make sure we do it. Sometimes things happen, but I try my best to at least take them the following day.
So, when we showed up to Sci-Tech this morning, and I saw 3 school busses and a full parking lot... I knew it was going to be much to crowded for me to remain calm and not turn in to: "Luke where is your brother?" "Hudson, have you seen Luke?" or even worse... the sweaty mom mess from running around making sure they aren't getting lost or doing something they should not be doing.
So, we did not go inside.
But after naps today, Hudson asked again to go to the museum.
It was 4. They close at 5.
But, it is less than 3 minutes from our house, so we got dressed and loaded up. When we arrived we only had 30 minutes, but seriously, the best time ever.
They ran around like they owned the place and had a ball.
And when we got home they wanted to make a quick 'loop' around the neighborhood on our bikes. So here I am, coat, scarf, skinny jeans, and boots riding my new bike around the streets with them. At least I don't have to run behind them now!!
