Cruise Round 2

Okay, stay with me.

This post is very very long.

I will say, this year was harder cruising with the boys. And I really think it just comes down to the ship. Royal Caribbean Mariner of the Seas is not all that great. 

Gasp. 

I hate even saying that. 

But it was my 5th cruise and Brandon's 8th cruise, and we can not figure out why people think it is so much better than Carnival. I think Carnival gets a bad wrap with all the 'fun ship' ads. Not one thing about this ship was nicer. The food was worse, the service, other than our room attendant, was awful. And the amenities on the ship compared to Carnival Magic were so sad. 

So, needless to say, you need to take a cruise on Carnival Magic before it leaves Galveston for good. That ship is great.

We made the most of our excursions this time. Minus the 'private beach' in Belize. That was a joke. We were like caged in this money trap. But Honduras and Cozumel were great!

Waiting for the boat to take off. After this picture, Luke fell walking inside the cabin from the balcony and de-gloved his gums from above 3 of his teeth. Still praying those teeth don't die and his permanent teeth are left unaffected.

New Years Eve Dinner!

 Poor Luke. Every. Single. Person. was served dessert but him. His ice cream did not come. And he was so sad.  It took them over 30 minutes to come over and still never realized he didn't get served. I Promise this would not happen on Carnival!!

Beautiful beaches. Wonderful people. Seriously poor. Very heart wrenching.

 See this trampoline. Scariest moment of the trip. (Other than Luke's bloody mess.) Hudson fell off the trampoline and Brandon caught him by the leg, but his whole upper body was underwater. Brandon quickly realized that was not the best move, so he let go of him. When he did, he got trapped under the trampoline. I thought he was drowning. Brandon quickly reached under for him and yanked him back up to the surface. He was screaming mad. Apparently he made it all the way under the trampoline and could stand  and see Luke up above him. He said he didn't like the seaweed, and was mad that Luke didn't help him. And he was mad Brandon yanked him back under water. We, however, didn't realize he could stand, or breathe for that matter.  But, he was fine, kept on swimming, and no harm done.

 The local children were out of school for the Christmas break.

 This seemed totally normal at the time. But looking at it now, I am not so sure about my judgement!! ha.

 Tired tired puppy.

 Woke up so grumpy and pissed off at life.

I love you Brandon! Even though he says vacations with our children are complete hell, I know you would do it again in a heart beat. I love making these memories with our children.  And I know they are  better from being little world beach travelers!
