Blog Award

So my friend Jennie gave me this little blog award. (Jennie and I became really good friends on dance team together in high school, and our babies are about 6 weeks apart!)

This means that I need to share 6 things that I am a Master at. And I'll name 6 people to share their master skills (if they want to play along)...

1. Master at Creative Cooking:
I can take a package of ground beef, chicken, ground turkey, whatever... and make up something from my head to cook. It never looks pretty, and only about half the time does it taste good. But I am blessed to have a husband with no expectations for dinner. I could put a bowl of cereal on the table and he would be content.
I think the worst idea I had was to make my own black bean burgers. But halfway through I got the idea to turn them into mini meatloafs, but I didn't have mini meatloaf pans. So I put them in muffin cups. They ended up looking like a really sick bran muffin. Brandon took them to work the next day and I'm sure his coworkers thought I was nuts.

2. Master Bargain Shopper:
Since staying at home has left me with no income. I have gotten really good at finding the best deals and collecting coupons. Did you know you can load coupons to your Kroger card, and clip a paper coupon and get the discount on both!? Oh the things that excite me now.

3. Master of Education:
AND I have a diploma from UH that says that! I managed to work full time, go to school at night, meet my husband, and have somewhat of a social life. Now if that is not a master, then I don't know what is!

4. Master of Excuses/Procrastination:
I can come up with any reason why not to work out, clean the house, fold the laundry, whatever. Its a really bad habit. I can talk myself out of anything. I am not proud of this one. But on the flip side, I can set the timer on the microwave for 15 minutes and clean my entire house. It has become somewhat of a game.

5. Master of Multitasking:
Before having twins, I was really good at doing tons of things at one time. But now, I am even better!
I can feed two babies at one time while reading everyone's facebook updates!
I can hold a baby, walk the dog, and push the stroller all at once. Granted our stroller is really amazing and practically can push itself.
I can also feed two babies solid foods and talk on the phone all while keeping them amused long enough to sneak a spoonful of peas in.
I'm sure there is more too!

6. Master Towel Folder:
When I was eight my mom taught me how to fold towels. You would not believe this... but yall all fold towels wrong. I taught Brandon, he knows how, but yet is not a good as me. (Or maybe he just wants me to do them!) You have to fold them perfect so they have a nice tight tri-fold. They look better on the shelf that way.

Okay, well, I now give the master blog award to: (only if you want to play!)
1. Sarah Paul
2. Sarah McCoy
3. Allison White
4. Angela Mize
5.Nichole Chatfield
6. Lindsey Agers
